Terms of service

The rules for using Wireframe, in the order you would want to read them.

Last updated 1 October 2026. Operated by Wireframe Ltd. Questions go to hello@wireframe.test.

01

The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Wireframe Ltd for the use of Wireframe. By creating an account, or by accepting an invitation to a team, you agree to them. If you are using Wireframe for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind that organisation to these terms.

02

Accounts and teams

You need an account to use Wireframe. Keep your password private and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Every account has a personal team and can create or join others. Team owners decide who is invited, who is removed and how the team is billed. Owners, admins and editors can change everything in the team; commenters can read and comment; viewers can read and export.

03

Your content

Everything your team writes in Wireframe belongs to your team. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us the limited licence needed to store it, show it to your team and to people you share it with, back it up and run the features you ask for, including AI features.

You are responsible for the content you create and share. Do not use Wireframe to publish material that is unlawful, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that is designed to deceive.

04

AI features

AI features produce suggestions from the content and instructions you provide. They can be wrong, generic or inappropriate for your audience, and you should review anything they write before relying on it. Suggestions are kept as versions alongside your own words so nothing is overwritten without your choice.

AI features run on credits. Paid plans include a monthly allowance per editor, pooled across the workspace and reset every month, annual plans included; unused credits do not roll over. The trial includes a fixed number of credits for its whole length, and the Free plan includes none. Top-up credits are spent after the monthly allowance and expire after the period shown when you buy them.

Each action costs the credits shown in the editor before it runs, and an action that fails gives its credits back. We may change allowances and costs with notice, and may limit request sizes, request rates or unusual use that affects other customers.

05

Billing

Wireframe has a Free plan and paid plans. The pricing page lists what each includes and costs. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, per editor: owners, admins and editors. Viewers and commenters are not billed. Prices follow the pricing page at the time of billing.

A new workspace can have one free trial of a paid plan, without a card. When it ends the workspace moves to the Free plan and nothing is deleted. There is one trial per person, workspace, email address, card and device; we may decline or end a trial that tries to get around this.

Editors added during a period are charged a prorated amount; removed editors stay paid until the next renewal and are not refunded. Upgrades, including a move from monthly to annual billing, apply at once and are charged a prorated amount. Downgrades, including a move from annual to monthly billing, take effect at the end of the current period.

You can cancel from the billing page at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, after which the workspace moves to the Free plan; we do not refund partial periods. If a payment fails, AI features pause while Stripe retries it, and if it still has not gone through when the grace period ends, the subscription is cancelled and the workspace moves to the Free plan.

On the Free plan, canvases over its limit become read-only. They can still be opened, exported and deleted, and nothing is deleted because of a plan change.

06

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break into other accounts, overload the service, scrape it, resell it, or use it to send unsolicited messages. Do not upload malicious code. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk, and we will tell you when we do unless the law prevents it.

07

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Wireframe available and will tell you about planned maintenance in advance where we can. We may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will give you notice and the option to cancel.

08

Liability

Wireframe is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount your team paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

09

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from the settings pages. We can end the agreement if you breach these terms and do not fix the breach within a reasonable time after we point it out, or immediately for serious misuse. When the agreement ends, you can export your content for thirty days, after which it is deleted.

10

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions about them go to hello@wireframe.test.
